Neighborhood Description: River Park is a single family residential subdivision in Franklin. The entrance to this neighborhood is flanked with stone pillars with the neighborhoods name on them. The developer, Icon Development is no longer in business because of the collapse of the condo market in the Milwaukee area. They were known for their “high quality, upscale projects.” (Franklin Today online article) William Ryan Homes was the builder for many of the homes in the neighborhood. Location: The River Park entrance is located off of 51st Street just South of Drexel at Preserve Way. This neighborhood is located across from Franklin High School and blocks from the new Franklin Fire Department. The southern edge of the neighborhood borders the City of Milwaukee Nursery Grounds. Approximate time to downtown Milwaukee is about 15-20 minutes via I-94.
Improvements ~ Each home is serviced by sanitary sewer & municipal water with laterals to the lot line, asphalt streets, underground gas, electric, telephone and cable TV service.
SCHOOL INFORMATION River Park is served by the Franklin School District.
